The combination of Malie porridge, banana, chocolate and fresh fruit makes perfect pancakes…
…and the right ingredients for your favourite breakfast!
Chocolate and fresh fig banana pancakes are incredibly fluffy, buttery and full of delicate banana flavour. Tweak the recipe to your liking and choose your favourite fruit and sauce.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ripe banana
- 3 tablespoons Malie banana porridge
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- chocolate sauce
- fresh or dry fruit
METHOD
Using a fork, mash your banana. Add an egg and whisk, then flour, agave syrup and baking powder. Mix so you get a thick batter. Heat a pan with coconut oil. Using a spoon, scoop the batter and make two pancakes at a time. Cook on one side till bubbles appear, flip and cook for additional 2 minutes.
Plate and decorate – I decided on chocolate sauce and fresh figs. Yum!
